gOS is a beautifully presented Linux OS taking the best of the Mac OSX graphical system to a new level. This Live CD gives the option of running gOS from the CD and memory, or a full installation can be performed.
gOS features a Mac style dashboard which keeps things simple and streamlined whilst fully customizable via Wbar. Based on Ubuntu 8.04 you have access to over 18,000 programs via the Ubuntu servers. gOS requires just 192mb of memory and takes up just 3gb for installation, therefore perfect for older computers and hardware or netbooks such as the Asus Eee or the Acer Aspire One.
This version also includes Google Gadgets which gives you access to over 100,000 cool application previously only available to Windows users - also included is support for Wine 1 allowing Windows programs to run on Linux. Prism brings the web to your desktop, allowing programs such as Gmail, Google Docs and blogging tools to run direct from your desktop.
