I know very little about anything Linux. I loaded a try-from-CD a few days ago to see what Ubuntu was all about, I was amazed how easy it was to load and to configure my network connection. What was particularly impressive was the speed my laptop was working, considering the system was using the CD, it was faster than the installed M$ XP Pro. So, if I did a full install the laptop should fly. Just got to make sure my most used software will work with Ubuntu and I will be a convert
